Tango Launch Workshop for Beginners
One Saturday per month 1:00 – 2:30 pm
Feb 11, March 4, April 1
In this introduction to tango, taught by Joe & Carlota, you will learn the basic skills of Argentine Tango. After taking this workshop, you can enroll in the weekly Thursday night group lesson at Urbana Dance Company.
- Fee: $17
- No partner required.

CLASSES
Tango Groove Weekly Tango Class
This is a mixed level class. Beginners should start with the “Tango Launch” workshop before joining the Tango Groove class.
Thursdays 8:00-9:15 pm.
Session I: Jan 5 – Feb 9.
Session II: Feb 16 – Mar 23. (Skip Mar 16 Spring Break)
Fees: $17 drop-in per class. $90 for six-week class card.
- Pre-requisite: An introduction to tango taught by Joe & Carlota.
- Partner is required – any gender OK.
- Masks and covid19 vaccination required.
- Shoes: non-grip soles recommended.
